Biomes in Plants vs Brainrots
Biomes are the spatial progression unit of Plants vs Brainrots. Each biome unlocks new brainrots, has its own enemy types, and demands a different plant loadout.
Garden Biome (starter)
No unlock requirement. Brainrot enemies are slow and predictable: ideal for early Sunflower + Cactus loadouts. Drops are mostly Common and Uncommon brainrots — focus on volume to seed your economy.
Forest Biome
Unlocks at ~$50K cumulative cash. Enemies get faster and start spawning in pairs. Watermelon becomes mandatory as a Tank. Drops Rare brainrots reliably. Best biome for the first major brainrot collection push.
Desert Biome
Unlocks at ~$500K cumulative cash. Range starts to matter: enemies spawn from two directions, so Long-range Attackers shine. Drops Epic brainrots; this is the first biome where Tomatrio's burst pays off against tankier enemies.
Frozen Biome
Unlocks at ~$5M cumulative cash. Slow-effect enemies negate Fast-attack-speed Attackers — favor consistent damage like Mr. Carrot over burst plants. Legendary brainrot drops first appear here. Tank slot is critical.
Mythic Biome (endgame)
Unlocks at ~$50M cumulative cash. Mythical and Secret-tier brainrots drop here, including the Los Mr. Carrotitos chain. You'll need at least one Mythical-tier attacker (Shroombino, Mr. Carrot) to consistently clear waves. This is where the rebirth-multiplier game gets real.
Biome strategy summary
- Garden + Forest: bank Sunflowers, sell duplicates aggressively.
- Desert: add a Long-range Attacker, rebirth for the first time around here.
- Frozen: Tank + consistent-damage attacker, save for Legendary purchases.
- Mythic: Mythical attacker is non-negotiable. Run rebirth cycles to scale into Secret plants.
